New documentation release for Greengage DB 6

A new release of documentation for Greengage DB 6 has become available today. It contains new articles related to access management, database maintenance, and data management. The full list of articles is available in the Releases section of our website. The previous documentation releases published on January 31, 2025 and March 17, 2025 can also be found there.

As Greengage DB was launched, it was decided to re-create documentation from scratch due to the irrelevance of many articles from the original Greenplum project. Greengage DB technical writers write new articles, add their own examples and check the legacy Broadcom documentation for completeness. Additionally, the new functionality available only to Greengage DB users is being documented. Each article undergoes a pre-publication check by the architecture committee and key developers of the Greengage DB project.

The next major release of documentation for Greengage DB 6 is scheduled for August 2025. The full version of Greengage DB documentation is expected to become available in Q1 2026.
