
The Open Source project Greengage DB was created and launched in 2024 under Dmitry's leadership, after Greenplum had switched to a closed-source model.
Dmitry has been working in the IT industry for more than 16 years. During this time, he has gone from an engineer to a manager of complex technical projects in the field of Big Data.

Vasily has more than 12 years of experience in the IT industry. He is an expert on the Greenplum and PostgreSQL internal design, as well as a leading developer of Greengage DB. Prior to archiving the Greenplum repository, he played a significant role in the development of Greenplum.
In the last few years, he has started mentoring young C developers.

Andrey has been working on high-load distributed systems and MPP databases for more than 12 years. Currently, he is engaged in the Greengage DB architecture design, researching and publishing approaches to the core optimization and scaling.
Andrey's articles on PostgreSQL and Greenplum help engineers better understand how these DBMS work under the hood.

Dmitry is a skilled R&D architect with more than 17 years of experience in design and optimization of MPP DBMS.
Dmitry has expertise in PostgreSQL, Greenplum, and Tarantool. Among his key contributions to Greengage DB are query monitoring tools, backup systems, and connectors for integration of distributed data storage and processing systems.

Andrey has been designing and developing high-load data analysis systems for more than 12 years.
In his work, Andrey is focused on distributed storages and MPP databases. He also guides colleagues on how to use ETL and LakeHouse technologies in the most efficient way.
In Greengage DB, Andrey developed and implemented connectors for integration of distributed data storage and processing systems.

In the Greengage DB project, Daria leads the development of technical documentation. She has more than 18 years of experience in the IT industry, including 13 years of backend development and system analytics experience.
Daria is in charge of making a backlog for technical writers, code review, and releasing documentation via automated CI/CD pipelines.
